Acastus PI: 2016 Imported Chestnut PRE Colt: This colt was bred by the well regarded stud farm of Fernando and Xavier Pique, Yeguada Piqué Angel, near Barcelona. Acastus and his dam, Tanzanita PI (pictured above: 3 yrs & pregnant) were imported by the Ledlie Family to Rancho Del Lago last year. The pedigree of Acastus is loaded with Spanish Military stock, Olympians, Sicab Champions, Breed Improvement sires and Foundation sires of lines such as Cardenas, Guardiola, and Terry.

Many horses have 1 or 2 famous ancestors in their pedigree, but Acastus counts a dozen such horses in his! Examples include both “golden ticket” lines found in every modern Spanish Olympic horse and 60% of the Sicab Champions. Castolon RDL: 2018 Bay PRE Colt: This colt is sired by Persiles YET. Persiles is one of only a handful of stallions in the world with 3 ANCCE stamps: Revised, Qualified, & Recommended Dressage Morphology. His sire is a military Breed Improvement Stallion. Castolon's dam is Encantadora PA. She's by 4 times National Champion, USDF Grand Champion, Dardanos RDL, by the legendary Indiano XVIII, Champion of Mexico. Encantadora's dam is Preciosa HGA, who is also the dam of multiple national champions; including Arturo PA - 2014 National Champion Spanish Junior stallion under the judge from Spain. LHR Elana ORO: 2012 Gray PRE Mare: Elana is well conformed, started under saddle and can have a wonderful show and pleasure riding career. Her dam, Zorra D ORO, is an Indiano 18 daughter and the dam of 3 national champions. Elana’s sire, Notable GF, is from the well known breeding program of Gremlin Farms, a son of the famous Gaucho III, the first Qualified stallion in the U.S. In 2009, Gaucho III was ranked 7th out of 1079 dressage sire in the USEF standings. He was 2017 National Champion Dressage Sport Horse colt, Region 5 Champion colt at halter and is already a USDF Champion Dressage Sport Horse in Hand. He is a veteran of 5 shows in 2016 and 2017 and is therefore used to being trailered, in strange places with strange horses, neck ribbons, wash racks, standing in a line up, etc. He has been shown at halter with a long line and at 2 in the sport horse classes he was shown with a bit and bridle. His pedigree has multiple national champions of the USA, Mexico and Spain on both sides. His sire is Dardanos RDL, 4 X National Champion, USDF Grand Champion, winner of 26 championships at regional show and both IALHA Lifetime Merit Awards. The sire of Dardanos is the legendary Indiano 18, twice Champion of Mexico, and the dam of Dardanos is from the line of Centella V, Champion of Spain. He is halter trained and started under saddle. He has an illustrious pedigree, sired by multi national champion and USDF Grand Champion, Saltador ORO (by Indiano 18). He also has 3 crosses in his pedigree to Sicab champion Centella V. He is an excellent mover with great hair. In Greek mythology, Dionysus was a son of Electra.

Cervantes RDL: 2018 Gray PRE Colt: Want to put your breeding program on the map? Cervantes RDL has one of the most impressive pedigrees you could find. BOTH sire and dam are Revised, Qualified and have the Recommended Dressage Morphology stamp. From the Spanish ANCCE web site: “ From 2004 to 2016 genetic assessment of the variables for functional conformation was undertaken based on performance tests on 25,910 mares and stallions on 7792 breeding farms. A total of 79 horses obtained the Young Recommended Breeding Stock stamp of approval.” This means there are only a handful of foals in the entire world from a dream cross like this. The dam, Espinilla PLC, was Champion Sr Mare, Champion Mare, all ages and Best Movement Adult horse with the highest score of all horses under the Spanish judge at the 2017 IALHA National Show. She is a granddaughter of Breed Improvement Stallion Educado X (by Centella V, Champion of Spain), called the “stallion of stallions” by Alvaro Domecq. The colt’s sire, Persiles YET, bred by the Lovera family is a son of another Breed Improvement Stallion and Sicab Champion, Faraon XXVIII and grandson of Aquiles III (sire of Olympian Norte Lovera) and the dam’s side of Persiles’ pedigree includes Sicab Champion Mejicano XIV by Leviton (another Olympian). There are only 31 horses with the Breed Improver stamp. Cervantes has one on each side of his pedigree plus 3 Sicab Champions.

He was IALHA Horse of the Year in 2011. The dam of this filly is Sincera PI, a Regional Champion imported military bred daughter of Utrerano VII, sire of Fuego from the renowned lines of Lebrijano III, Agente, Maluso. These lines are in the pedigree of all Spanish Olympic horses and 70% of Sicab winners. The filly is eligible for IALHA papers, is ANCCE inscribed, and is Life-time USEF registered. Her movement is great and her temperament very sweet. She is now bay but may turn gray.
