May Fest at Rancho del Lago, in partnership with the Foundation for the Pure Spanish Horse, will offer something for everyone! The three day event features Howard and Erica Peet helping participants with "in-hand" work (private and group lessons), Michael Vermaas offering dressage lessons for every level of rider and/ or Working Equitation lessons, a W.E. clinic, seminar and schooling show. Special surprises during the seminar and amazing demonstrations. After a scrumptious pot luck lunch on Saturday, we will enjoy a schooling show (in hand, DSHB, saddle classes) and a W.E. practice show, with ribbons to the winners! The Saturday event will end with a delicious catered dinner and time to visit with clinicians and your friends! Absolute deliciousness! Private and group lessons will be held Friday and Sunday. You may also play on the WE obstacles on Friday afternoon.
We ask that you bring something for a pot luck lunch on any day that you participate - Friday, Sat, and Sunday. A continental breakfast will be provided daily, and a catered dinner is planned for Saturday night. As usual, we will have a silent auction. Any donation would be greatly appreciated – horsey or non-horsey! Books, jewelry, tack, children’s items, clothes, riding apparel, goodies, treats, etc.
Because individual lessons with Michael and Howard and schooling show entries are limited due to space and time constraints, you are encouraged to register as soon as forms become available. If you have any further questions, please call Judy at 979-299-4785 or Walter at 979-292-5784. Or contact the Foundation for the Pure Spanish Horse directly.
Put May 6,7 & 8th on your calendar. You do not want to miss this equine event of the year! Look forward to seeing you!
